Marriage contract of Khadijah Sultan and Mulla Muhammad ‘Ali, 1914
Marriage contract of Khadijah Sultan, daughter of Mashhadi ‘Ali, the baker from Isfahan, and Mulla Muhammad ‘Ali, known as Mukarram, from Habib Abad. The mahr is twenty-six tumans and two qirans and ten shahis, and three misqals [unit of weight] of gold. The bride settled two thousand five hundred dinars of her mahr with the groom for a Qurʼan worth one tuman.

Settlement, 1884
Haji Muhammad Baqir, son of the late Haji Kalb‘ali from Khuzan, settled a piece of land and a garden with Muhammad Karim Khan Vakil al-Raʻaya, Haji Muhammad ʻAli, son of Haji Muhammad Tahir, and Muhammad Ibrahim after giving the share of Muhammad Ibrahim's wife, according to their marriage contract. Based on the current settlement, the above property is being transferred to Haji Muhammad Baqir's sons, Muhammad Ibrahim and ʻAli Akbar in exchange for one hundred and eighty tumans.

Deposition about recording a marriage, 1910
Sayyid Ahmad A‘mi [the blind] from Kazirun, son of Mirza Kuchak from Kazirun, testifies about his presence at the marriage ceremony between the late Hajiyah Zivar Sultan, daughter of Haji Muhammad Hasan the merchant, and Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin, son of Haji Muhammad Hasan, in August of 1904. The mahr was one hundred tumans and a volume of the Qur’an. Shaykh Lutf Allah, son of Haj Shaykh ‘Ali Muhammad, was the other witness to the marriage present at the Imam's courthouse.

Letter written by the attorney of Sayyid Husayn's wife to the lower court, 1929
Sayyid Husayn coercively divorced his wife, in the presence of Sayyid Abu al-Qasim (prayer leader of ‘Ali mosque), with the wife waiving her mahr and the condition of no return after divorce. Now after five months, when she wants to marry another man, Sayyid Husayn claims that he wants to remarry her, even though her marriage contract has been abrogated.

Khanum Kuchak's deposition, 1898
Khanum Kuchak, daughter of Mashhadi ‘Ali ‘Askar, states that she has received all her mahr from her husband, ‘Ali Asghar, and settles any possible claims for some white crystal candies. She has also received seven tumans for the expenses during the waiting period. Khanum Kuchak’s mother, Fatimah, daughter of Karbalayi Isma‘il from Khaminah, and her uncle, Karbalayi Muhammad ‘Ali, have also underwritten this settlement.
